ZJUDancer relies on its sponsors and partners for the robots, software and support behind every season. This page introduces the robotics company currently backing the team and the competition platform it provides.
Booster Robotics builds humanoid robots together with the developer platform around them; the Booster K1 is its humanoid for research, education and competitions. From the 2026 season the team competes entirely on the Booster K1: about 95 cm standing height, 19.5 kg and 22 degrees of freedom, listed in the HSL 2026 rule book among the platforms available in the Middle division (up to 125 cm / 25 kg). Walking, kicking and getting up after a fall are now trained with reinforcement learning, and the tactics were reworked for the new 2026 rules.
